Students who have completed this two-day course will have been taught by experts in the field providing new knowledge and skills in regenerative dentistry, encompassing dental implantology and soft and hard tissue regeneration using standard GBR and laser therapy. The course covers: patient selection criteria, surgical anatomy and radiographical imaging (CT/micro-CT); introducing implant surgery and prosthetics; introducing the Sky implant system and overview of alternatives; steps to performing successful dental implant placement and restoration; bone grafting procedures; socket/ridge preservation; introducing regenerative biomaterials; introducing the theory of the PRF; principles and applications of photodynamic therapy for a regenerative approach; and photo-biomodulation therapy for bone regeneration and acceleration of wound healing.
